Over the years, Robbie Zgaljic and Jahmeel Russell have been attached to various projects on the heavier end of the spectrum, including KEN Mode, Sparkmarker and the Black Halos. These days, the Vancouverites make music as Red Vienna, and with a new release due out in the spring, they've rolled out the song "Golden Dove."
The ominous track sports a pounding mid-tempo beat and snarling low-end distortion, while the cavernous washes of guitar and darkly crooned vocals make this an accessible slice of arty alt-rock.
