Record Store Day isn't until April 18, but one very industrious eBay seller has already started offering exclusive releases from the event for hugely inflated prices.
Seller alicia122011 has a whopping 123 different releases up for sale, and the "buy it now" price is $99 or more on all of these. There's a catch, however: the seller notes that these overpriced records won't ship until "[a] few days following April 18th (Record Store Day '15)." In other words, it appears that the seller won't actually have these records until the same time as everyone else.
The real mystery, of course, is how alicia122011 can be so sure that he or she will be able to have access to these 123 records, given that many of them are being released in fairly limited quantities. It seems fairly likely that this individual has connections at a record store, or a serious love for waiting hours in line.
Peruse the releases up for grabs right here, although the prices are extravagant to say the very least. Also be sure to check out the full list of Record Store Day releases.
