Ratatat have a new album on the horizon, and with Magnifique due out next week (July 17) on XL Recordings, the electro-rocking twosome have shared a new cut: "Nightclub Amnesia."
This instrumental track cleverly melds rocking synths with wonky, harsh guitar in a way that makes it hard to tell the two instruments apart. The first passage of the six-minute jam is anchored by a thumping groove, but this is interrupted by a piano-driven breakdown prior to a danceable second half.
