Tomorrow (March 12), Cat's Eyes singer Rachel Zeffira will release The Deserters, her much-hyped debut solo album, for Paper Bag Records. To celebrate, Zeffira has scheduled just two North American shows: one in Toronto, the other in New York City.
The shows will mark Zeffira's first North American dates supporting The Deserters, which showcases both her knack for orchestral arrangements — which were recorded at none other than Abbey Road studios — and her mellifluous alto croon. She'll treat Toronto's Drake Hotel to both on May 2 and play New York's the Slipper Room May 6. The size of both venues will ensure very intimate shows, so these are two you might not want to miss.
