Pusha T

'Darkest Before Dawn' (film trailer)

As previously reported, G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T is gearing up to release a new album called Darkest Before Dawn, as well as a short film of the same name. We've yet to learn if album collaborators like Kanye West will make it into the mini-movie component, but King Push is getting us stoked on the possibilities by unveiling a proper film trailer.

Yesterday (November 25), a quickie clip juxtaposed Push's serene walk through the trees with tense moments and a slightly sacrilegious make-out scene. Now, this fuller trailer reveals an appreciation for Shakespeare's Henry IV, church confessionals and counting stacks of money. There's also a lot of screaming, and a particularly supernatural wall-crawling experience.

You can try to piece together the narrative by peeping the gas mask-heavy trailer to the Kid Art-directed film down below. The full film is expected to premiere at Art Basel in Miami, which runs from December 3 to 6.

Darkest Before Dawn touches down as both an LP and a short film December 18.
