Proxy

"Red Juke"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 5, 2012

Proxy recently assaulted our speakers with a pair of remixes for Marilyn Manson, and now the hardcore electro producer from Russia is preparing to release a full-length album. Entitled Music from the Eastblock Jungles Part 1, it's due out tomorrow (November 6) through Dim Mak Records, and you can now get a taste of that collection via the track "Red Juke."

Music from the Eastblock Jungles Part 1 is the first half of a two-album set that explores rave culture and classic drum and bass music, with the collection's sound said to be the result of Proxy's isolation thanks to visa problems. A press release promises that it is "a shocking display of hardcore sonic violence," which definitely holds true for "Red Juke."
