Pro Era

'The Shift' (mixtape)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 27, 2014

After issuing a pair of preview tracks, Beast Coast kids the Pro Era have now unwrapped all of the tracks off their newest freebie mixtape, The Shift. Brought to you by the people at Scion A/V, the five-song set is up for grabs now.

Previously leaked track "Extortion," featuring both bars and a beat from Kirk Knight, starts the set off with a blunted-up synth swerve. Dirty Sanchez, Roka-Mouth, J.A.B and Jakk the Rhymer team up as 47s on the fast-rapped, minimalist thud of "Come Come," while breakout star Joey Bada$$ and NYCk Caution spit venomous rhythms and suggest a subscription to Reader's Digest on the airy, '80s new age synthscape of "On My Life."

You'll find all of the tracks in the player down below, and can download the package over here.
