As far as non-traditional Christmas songs go, they don't get much more classic than John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)." It's no surprise then, that the Polyphonic Spree chose to cover the tune for their recent holiday album and have released a video for the track.
This faithful rendition of the song is accompanied by an animated clip that shows a canvas being repeatedly painted over and updated with intriguing, faintly psychedelic images. There's not much of a Christmas theme to any of the visuals, but it looks good, so who's complaining?
