Pink Mountaintops Unveil 'Get Back' Tour Plans

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 3, 2014

Vancouver expat Stephen McBean is getting ready for the release of his first Pink Mountaintops' album in four years, Get Back, and will be taking the long-awaited song cycle on a world tour.

Having recently returned from a road trip as the support act for Band of Horses, the bulk of Pink Mountaintops' upcoming travel plans will have them in the driver's seat, with headlining shows booked across North America and Europe. This includes marquee appearances in Victoria and Vancouver this May.

There will also be some festival dates thrown in the mix, from an upcoming appearance at the Austin Psych Fest, to an appearance at the Ottawa Bluesfest in July. You'll find all the show info, running between April and September, down below.

As previously reported, Get Back arrives April 29 through Jagjaguwar in the U.S. and Outside in Canada. McBean recorded the set in his current hometown of Los Angeles, with guests making their way onto the record including J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.), Anne Hardy (Giant Drag), Rob Barbato (the Fall, Cass McCombs), Gregg Foreman (Cat Power), Daniel Allaire (Brian Jonestown Massacre) and more.

You'll find the rowdy clip for "Ambulance City," a place noticeably absent from the tour schedule, down below.
