The 10th anniversary of Pinback's Summer in Abaddon is creeping up quick, so the San Diego-bred indie rock outfit are set to toast their third full-length with a vinyl reissue and a celebratory North American tour, where they will be playing the album in its entirety.
Originally issued through Touch & Go in the fall of 2004, marking their debut for the label, the album will be reissued on maroon 180-gram vinyl on September 2. It doesn't appear to have any bonus material, but the reissue will only be sold on tour and via the label's website here. It's limited to 500 copies.
The trip in question kicks off in early September out in Phoenix and mostly sticks to U.S. venues, but there is a Canadian show on the schedule. Pinback will play Vancouver's Imperial venue on September 27.
Joining the band on all dates will be Sacramento genre-jumpers Tera Melos. You'll find all of the details down below.
Upcoming re-release notwithstanding, Pinback's last proper full-length release was 2012's Information Retrieved.
