BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 21, 2015

Unlikely pals Pharrell and Al Gore are teaming up again for another Live Earth concert in the fight against global warming.

The event will take place on June 18, as simultaneous concerts get underway over 24 hours in Paris, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing, Sydney and Capetown. A final show will be hosted at a research station in Antarctica.

The concert series is scheduled in advance of the United Nations Climate Change Conference, which will take place in Paris come December.

The climate change advocates previously organized a Live Earth concert in 2007 that featured performances around the world from more than 150 artists, including Kanye West, Metallica, the Beastie Boys, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Madonna, Rihanna and Snoop Dogg.
