Peterborough's Inaugural Not Quite Festival Reveals Lineup

Tired of just being "not quite Ottawa, not quite Toronto," the organizers of the Not Quite music festival are set to shine a spotlight on Peterborough, ON, as viable musical hub.

Organized by "a few university kids on a shoestring budget," the inaugural Not Quite festival is slated to take place from March 26 to 28 at various venues around Peterborough.

For what is the first of hopefully many events to come, they've pulled together a lineup that features Nihilist Spasm Band, Moon King, Soupcans, Catriona Sturton, Badminton Racquet, Watershed Hour, and hello babies.

A statement from the organizers, promoting positive vibes at the upcoming shows, reads:

This is a safe space festival. Racism, sexism, body shaming, homophobia, transmisogyny, ableism and other oppressive behavior will not be tolerated. Please be respectful and thoughtful about your surroundings and other people. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Early bird tickets are currently available for $20, and you can get all the information about the event at the festival's Facebook page
