In addition to their contributions to Dan Mangan's upcoming Club Meds LP, Blacksmith members Gord Grdina and Kenton Loewen work together as PinkBrown. Well, at least they did. Today (December 5), the duo have decided to go forth as Peregrine Falls, and you can hear their first new tune under the title now.
Dubbed "Two Fish in a Bucket," the track's modern blues-rock feel kind of sounds like Black Keys' taking on Led Zeppelin's "The Immigrant Song," but the cut eventually throws warped surf guitar leads and fretboard-scouring lead lines over top a steady pound.
You can hear the track, which will appear on their Two Fish EP, down below.
