The Penske File

'Burn into the Earth' (album stream)

Burlington, ON crew the Penske File specialize in poppy, punk-leaning rock — a perfect sound for the coming summer weather. They're gearing up to release a new album called Burn into the Earth, but before they drop it for the public they've allowed us to share a preview via a full album stream.

The 10-song LP was recorded with Steve Rizun, who previously worked with the Flatliners, Motorleague and Junior Battles. The album expands on the band's previous EPs with more of their poppy, harmonica-led anthems. The press release states the record "attacks the listener with a sonic authenticity and passion that perfectly captures the ferocious spirit of the band" — something we tend to agree with.

Stomp Records will issue Burn Into the Earth on June 2, but you can preview the whole thing in full below. You can also pre-order it here.
