'The World Is Too Much With Us' (album stream)

Peace
Vancouver post-punks Peace are gearing up for the release of their second full-length outing, The World Is Too Much With Us, which will be the quartet's first outing for Suicide Squeeze Records. While the album arrives October 16, you can now check out the moody effort down below courtesy of Exclaim!

We had already been privy to the lovey-dovey and driving opening jangler "Your Hand in Mine," but elsewhere you can check out hauntingly cyclical and psychedelic tracks "Winterhouse" and "Free Time," the wah-wah-guitar-blasting "Black Cocaine" and the math-rock-by-way-of-'80s-new-romanticism-styled "Fun and Games," all of which are driven by the gravelly speak-sing of baritone poet Dan Geddes.

As previously reported, The World Is Too Much With Us, much like their debut disc My Face, was recorded with producer Jordan Koop at his the Noise Floor studio in Ladysmith, BC.

Peace will be taking the album out on a North American tour, whose dates you can see here. And of course, check out the album below.

Coming back soon! If our developer were more machine than man they'd already be here. Useless meatsack.
