Patrick Watson was among the many names announced for this year's Bonnaroo festival, and it turns out that this date is just part of a more extensive spring schedule that includes a number of Quebec shows.
The Montreal songwriter and his band will launch a European jaunt later this month. They will return to these shores in late March, at which point they will play a series of North American dates including six gigs in their home province. The Bonnaroo appearance comes a couple of months later in June.

The clip for this orchestrally inclined baroque-folk number was created by Chloe Poirier-Sauve as part of a video-making competition. The dreamscape-style animation appears to have been created using sand art, as a hand emerges in parts to adjust the image.
Watson said in a statement, "It struck us as more than a music video: it stands on its own as a work of art."
