"JOY" (video)

Cardiff, UK-based alt-pop duo Paper Aeroplanes released their latest album JOY last month, and now they've followed it up with some visuals for the album's title track. Before catching the band's NXNE show at the Rivoli in Toronto on June 20, you can get your first glimpse of the new video at Exclaim!, right now.

The new single hears the band exploring their more experimental side, thanks in part to teaming up with Tennessee-born, Cardiff-based producer Mason Neely. The song's message encourages listeners to dig deeper than life's everyday stresses and strains to find the joy lurking below.

It's an uplifting sentiment, which gets reflected in the accompanying visuals. The animated clip follows a girl on a journey through a rough and rainy day — though she eventually manages to turn things around and find some colour.

You can follow along and hopefully find some happiness of your own by watching the video for "JOY" below.
