Back in 2011, Animal Collective's line of shoes brought us a new Panda Bear track called "The Preakness." A new version of that same song appeared on the Japanese pressing of Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper, and it has now emerged online.
This alternate take on the song is labelled "Motorik Demo." It's not too much of a departure from the choral haze of the original version, although the "Motorik" part of the equation manifests in the form choppy, feedback-laced guitar swirls. It's a line more in line with Panda's current sound.
