As always, the Ottawa Bluesfest is a big event on the Canadian music calendar, and this year will be no exception. For proof, festival organizers have rolled out the lineup for 2015, and there are certainly plenty of big-name performers involved in what's now known as the RBC Bluesfest.
Among the artists who will be performing between July 8 and 19 at LeBreton Flats Park are Interpol, Iggy Azalea, Run the Jewels, Chance the Rapper, Future Islands, Chvrches, Alvvays, Purity Ring, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Charles Bradley, the Tragically Hip, Bahamas, Arkells, Black Mountain, Hawksley Workman, Hilotrons, Full Flex Express (with Jack Ü), Deep Purple, Blue Rodeo, the Black Lips, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Operators, METZ, Mother Mother, Failure, Bobby Bazini, Canned Heat, Current Swell, De La Soul, Dropkick Murphys, John Butler Trio, Keith Urban, Hedley, Marianas Trench, Logic, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts, Robyn Hitchcock, the Gaslight Anthem, G-Eazy, Logic, Antibalas, the Tea Party and many more.
"The RBC Bluesfest is one of the most well-rounded music experiences of the summer," said executive and artistic director Mark Monahan in a statement. "As fans have come to expect, we will once again be offering unprecedented value and variety."
A limited quantity of early bird passes will go on sale on March 26 at 10 a.m. local time.
