Obits are showing off a new side of themselves in the new video for their Bed & Bugs' "I'm Closing In," an animated clip portraying the band as a collection of instrument-toting anthropomorphic animals.
The busy clip for the pumped-up garage rock number finds vocalist/guitarist Rick Froberg, seen here as sharply dressed man-bat, running through the track with his band buddies, which now apparently include a fish-headed fella that would drive Barnes & Barnes crazy, a hard-rockin' velociraptor and a helmeted skeleton keeping the backbeat. If that wasn't crazy enough, there's a bizarre chase scene between a golden southern general and a little boy borne from a painting, the two fighting for a shimmering jewel.
