The Novaks Roll Out Canadian Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 17, 2012

Newfoundland's the Novaks proclaimed we live in a "Big World" on their 2010 EP of the same name, and the trio will cover a portion of the globe on their upcoming Canadian tour.

The act will head out on their first cross-Canada trek in several years this month to celebrate their tenth anniversary. The core trio of Mick Davis (vocals, guitar), Mark Neary (vocals, bass) and Elliot Dicks (drums) will beef up their sound on stages countrywide with the addition of live guitarist Brad Power.

The Novaks kick off the trip on the opposite coast with an opening slot for Philadelphia's Rhode Island's Deer Tick at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom May 30. The group will make their way eastward, linking up with rockers Monster Truck for a series of shows in Ontario, before rejoining the Deer Tick tour, and will cap it all with a couple of headlining gigs in the Maritimes. You can catch the details down below.

While the Novaks delivered the three-song Big World in 2010, they haven't issued a full-length since 2009's Things Fall Apart.
