Norah Jones recently contributed a song to Seth MacFarlane's latest film, the Mark Wahlberg-starring Ted. It's only fitting, then, that the track bears a slight resemblance to the theme song of MacFarlane's best-known project, Family Guy.
The song is called "Everybody Needs a Best Friend," and it's a '40s-tinged big band number with blaring horns, shimmering strings and upbeat lyrics about -- you guessed it -- being best friends. This marks a change from the lounge-oriented work that Jones is often associated with.
As for the accompanying video, it consists solely of footage from Ted, which makes for an appropriate but unmemorable clip.
