Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

"Leave My Guitar Alone"

Former Oasis bloke Noel Gallagher has been promoting his new album with High Flying Birds, Chasing Yesterday, and now he's shared an outtake called "Leave My Guitar Alone."

This tune is a simple pop-rock breakup lament that begins with the lyric, "You took off the car / With my electric guitar," and Gallagher tells the woman that she take whatever she wants so long as she leaves him with the six-string. Ironically, the song doesn't actually feature any electric guitar, and the instrumentation is instead dominated by piano and acoustic strums.
