No Joy

"Moon in My Mouth"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Apr 21, 2015

Montreal's No Joy are known for their shoegazing fuzz, but their latest offering is pure, crystalline shimmer. It's called "Moon in My Mouth" and it can be heard now.

The song highlights a clean, hypnotic guitar figure, which becomes overlaid with layers of electric riffs and soft acoustic strums. Throw in some sweetly sighing vocal melodies and slow-paced rhythms, and it all amounts to a soothing daydream of a tune.

Hear it below. No Joy's More Faithful will be out on June 9 through Arts & Crafts/Mexican Summer.
