Nirvana's archives have been thoroughly mined in 2015. With a pile of Kurt Cobain's demos emerging thanks to the documentary Montage of Heck, another Nirvana rarity has now made its way online. This one is a lengthy jam dubbed "E-Coli."
The song emerged on Reddit, and while its origins are unclear, a caption on YouTube speculates that it comes from 1993 or 1994. It's not difficult to see why this one didn't appear on an album, since it's a messy jam consisting of almost nine minutes of loose drum fills, abstract guitar and distant mumbling and wailing. That being said, it is a fitting document of the legendary grunge band's raucous fury.
