Nicolas Godin

"Widerstehe doch der Sünde" (video)

Nicolas Godin may be best known for his work as one half of French electronic duo Air, but the musician is stepping out solo for a new album titled Contrepoint, and he's now offered up a new set of visuals for a track off the upcoming record.

Following the video for "Orca," Godin has shared an eerie black-and-white clip for "Widerstehe doch der Sünde." The track features German lyrics sung by Thomas Mars of Phoenix, as well as some accompanying vocals by Dorothée de Koon.

The video, meanwhile, takes a day at the beach and turns it into a far from sunny affair. Skeletons sport Hawaiian shirts, bask in the glory of bonfires and attempt to catch some waves — in a sea full of sharks.

Contrepoint is due out on September 18 via Because Music. Watch the video for "Widerstehe doch der Sünde" in the player below.
