Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Announce North American Tour, Play Toronto, Montreal

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Dec 3, 2012

Over the weekend, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds offered up "We Know Who U R," the first taste of their impending Push the Sky Away LP, and the band are now washing our bad case of the Mondays away with news of an upcoming North American tour.

Starting in late February, Cave and co. will play a workweek's worth of dates over in their native Australia, but the band will head to North America in the middle of March. The 13-date trip is U.S.-intensive, but the act booked shows up north in Montreal and Toronto too. You can catch all the details of the trip, which finds Sharon Van Etten opening most nights, down below.

As previously reported, Push the Sky Away drops on CD, vinyl and digitally February 18 via Bad Seed Ltd. A deluxe box set, meanwhile, won't be shipped until sometime in April. If you're interested, the set comes with both the CD and vinyl versions, a DVD featuring visuals from artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, two 7-inches with B-sides, a 120-page replica notebook, liner notes, and an a certificate of authenticity signed by Cave.

You can pre-order the box here.
