An interview discussing the recent launch of Neil Young's new Pono music player also had the iconic rocker mentioning offhand that a new album with Willie Nelson's sons is on the way.

The reveal was made yesterday (January 8) at the at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas during a talk on "Why High-Resolution Music Matters," with Young noting, simply, "I'm working on another album now that I'm going to do be doing with Willie Nelson's sons."

Though little exists in the way of details, Shakey joked that the album title would be The Monsanto Years, which targets the agricultural company he's protested against in the past. "It's an upbeat review of the situation," he said.

Young performed onstage with Lukas and Micah Nelson last year at Farm Aid, the Harvest the Hope Concert and the Bridge School Benefit.

Though it's unclear when the album could arrive, Young admitted that he has plenty of plans to keep him busy in the future, from guiding Pono to making more albums.

"I don't know much about the future," he said. "I want to [focus on Pono] and I want to continue playing music. Those two things should keep me pretty busy. I have some film editing and things to do on the side. I'll probably be writing some books. I want to keep doing what I do. I'd like to continue doing it for a long time."
