The National

'Mistaken for Strangers' (bonus footage)

BY Josiah HughesPublished Aug 5, 2014

New York indie act the National released their Mistaken for Strangers documentary earlier this year, but it's still a source of new, humourous material. After being the source material for a Funny or Die sketch, the film has now become the source for some funny deleted scenes.

Director Tom Berninger (brother of National frontman Matt) has shared a trio of clips on his Vimeo page (via Pitchfork]. There's a video of Matt shooting ping pong balls from his posterior, a band-wide poll on who's the smartest member, and a two-minute trailer that hints at more bonus scenes.

Watch the deleted Mistaken for Strangers scenes below. The film is available now on iTunes and through on-demand services.
