Exclaim! coverboys Run the Jewels may have leaked their much-anticipated RTJ2 early, but fans were in for another surprise when the duo was joined by a special guest at an official launch event for the album.
The new record arrived this week via Mass Appeal Records and label boss Nas stepped out to congratulate Killer Mike and El-P on their work. He also took the opportunity to unveil a brand new track of his own.
Titled "The Season," the track uses J Dilla's "Gobstopper" as a foundation for Nas's new rhymes. You can see footage from the Q & A event and hear a lengthy snippet of the new song below.
