My Morning Jacket's new single "Compound Fracture" is one of the most keyboard-heavy, groove-centric cuts from this year's The Waterfall, which makes it a perfect contender to be remixed by dance music veteran Giorgio Moroder.
Moroder remixed the tune alongside Roman Luth. The producers retain frontman Jim James' soulful melodies and falsetto hook, but they change all the other instrumentation, turning this into a twinkling disco banger with glittering synths and choppy funk guitar.
