Ministry

'Relapse' (album stream)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 23, 2012

Industrial giants Ministry may have been on hiatus for the last few years, but frontman Al Jourgensen has reformed the group for the new album Relapse. The record marks the 13th from the band and will arrive March 26 via 13th Planet Records, but you can stream it now at Exclaim!

According to a recent press release, Jourgensen is "still angry, still political, and very, very pissed off," channelling his rage into 11 new tracks. He's taken inspiration from the recent Occupy movement, and delivers Relapse "as a reluctant prophet accusing, dissecting, cajoling and exhorting greed, corruption and lies."

The frontman previously expressed his feeling towards the Occupy protesters, stating, "We wanted to fly to New York and protest and get arrested and pepper sprayed. But we can't do it because I got a Christmas deadline on this album."

Well, now the album's done, and you can check it out below.

UPDATE: This stream was available for one week only and is no longer available.
