Arena-aiming electro rockers Metric have an album called Pagans in Vegas due out on September through MMI/Universal, and as they continue on their North American summer tour with Imagine Dragons, they have rolled out the new track "Too Bad, So Sad."
In clip surges forward with a synthy swing, mixing buzzy low end with queasy, bloopy electronic effects. Some urgent guitar licks help to boost the chorus, which features Emily Haines delivering a "Song 2"-cribbing hook of "woo-hoo!"
The song is accompanied by a CGI visualizer consisting of spinning digital shapes and some key words from the lyrics.
This initially premiered on Metric's new mobile app, and it's now available more widely. Check it out below [via CBC].
