BY Sarah MurphyPublished Feb 3, 2015

Atlanta progressive metal outfit Mastodon will be looking back on their past work through a colourful new lens this year, as they've announced plans to reissue their Reprise releases on coloured vinyl.

Throughout 2015, the band will be rolling out the rainbow-tinted goods, beginning with 2006's Blood Mountain. A new solid yellow and transparent green edition of the LP will arrive on March 3.

Crack the Skye (2009) will follow on baby blue vinyl on June 2, with The Hunter (2011) getting a solid red and white makeover on August 4.

Rounding out the individual releases, the band will unveil a blend of transparent green and solid white wax for their latest album Once More 'Round the Sun. It will arrive on October 5.

Finally, a limited edition box set featuring the aforementioned releases will be released on December 8. Only 500 copies will be made available, with further details on the special collection to come.

You can catch the band on their upcoming North American tour with Clutch this spring, and relive the ass-shaking good time that is the "Motherload" video below.
