Toronto pop experimenters Marriage have dropped a ton of singles since forming in 2013, and this week they'll finally issue their debut full-length OK to Disconnect. Before it arrives on Friday (May 15), the group have treated the release to a "visual album stream."
That means the group have essentially shared nine music videos, all of which were directed by the band's Brett Zadravetz and HOC's Jenny Warne.
A press release describes it as a little more conceptual, saying, "the videos are purposefully simple and meditative, yet their very mundanity becomes compelling, providing a counterpoint for the aural complexities of each song. Conceived as an exercise in spectatorship and patience, if you watch closely, each video opens up a world of ecstatic subtle tension and thrill."
