Besides releasing a 2008 standout in HLLLYH, L.A. hyper-punks the Mae Shi have been on somewhat of a touring frenzy, hitting North America a few times, as well as a flurry of European dates. From the looks of it, 2009 should be no different, as the band are planning to embark on another North American tour.
The trip will include four Canadian dates, including stops in Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton and Calgary, where they will be reliving their Sled Island experience at Broken City. As of right now, the band's MySpace page lists both the Vancouver and Victoria dates on January 29, which is pretty much impossible, so keep an eye peeled for details.
