Mind-expanding Montreal pop explorers the Luyas have announced another batch of dates behind last year's Animator LP, and this time they'll be bringing along quirky New Jersey ethnomusicologist Julian Lynch.
A press release explains that the co-headlining trip will be especially collaborative, with the Luyas acting as Lynch's backup band, while the solo artist will also sit in and contribute during the Luyas' sets. The tag-team trek kicks off in early June in Montreal, and wraps at the Ottawa Explosion on June 24.
While the Luyas' last LP was delivered in 2012, Lynch will be promoting his recently released spring set Lines, out via Underwater Peoples.
