New York pop-rock outfit Lucius previously released the track "Genevieve" on their self-titled debut EP, but they also recorded an updated version that was eventually cut from their Dine Alone Records/Mom + Pop full-length Wildewoman. Now, they've shared that new version of the track.

The song begins with pounding drums and wordless chants, and it soon turns into a bright pop number that swells with soulful harmonies and raw grooves. The band have plans to officially release it this year via Dine Alone/Mom + Pop, but check it out in the meantime below.

See the band's upcoming tour schedule here. In includes a couple of Canadian festival dates, in addition to a European leg and U.S. jaunts opening for Tegan and Sara and the Head and the Heart, respectively.
