Lil Wayne Storms Offstage When DJ Plays Wrong Track

Let this be a warning to all DJs: don't screw up while you're laying down beats for Lil Wayne or else he will be pissed. One DJ learned this lesson the hard way last night (March 12), when his blunder prompted Weezy to storm offstage during a gig at Fort Lauderdale, FL's Nova Southeastern University.

According to TMZ, Wayne was seven songs into the show when the DJ cued up "CoCo," a OT Genasis song that Wayne raps over on his Sorry 4 the Wait 2 mixtape. Instead of the instrumental version, however, the DJ accidentally played the original version featuring OT Genasis' rapping.

Rather than take this in stride, Wayne flung his microphone in the direction of the DJ and stormed offstage. He didn't return and that was the end of the set.

Watch video of the incident below. Although the footage is poor quality, it clearly shows Wayne looking towards the DJ with confusion and anger before hurling the mic.

This incident came one day after police were called to Wayne's Miami Beach mansion with reports of a shooting. This turned out to be a hoax, however.
