Mere hours after they performed it together on the AMAs, Lil Wayne and Christina Milian have shared "Start a Fire," the first proper single from the rapper's forthcoming Tha Carter V.
While sound issues and a lacklustre performance distracted from the song on TV, the studio version allows for a proper listen. The result is, well, still a little disappointing, as "Start a Fire" is some by-the-numbers pop rap complete with acoustic guitars, drum-circle percussion and an overly emotional chorus.
Either way, "Start a Fire" can be streamed below. Tha Carter V is set to arrive on December 9 via Young Money/Cash Money.
