The Libertines are back. Having announced that Anthems for a Doomed Youth, their first album since 2004, will be out on September 4 through Harvest Records, the reunited British rockers have given their track "Gunga Din" a video.
The song sports raw-sounding, dubby verses that give way to rousing sing-along choruses before the whole thing culminates in a chaotic rock finale. As for the accompanying video, we see the Libertines lads walking through a marketplace — presumably in Thailand, where they recorded Anthems for a Doomed Youth — and getting a little sloppy and disheveled in the process.
