Less Than Jake

"Good Enough" on Exclaim! TV

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Dec 4, 2014

Ska-punk mainstays Less Than Jake have been making music for over 20 years. The group shows no signs of slowing down, judging by the upbeat attitude they brought to a recent Exclaim! TV session where they delivered an "exclusive acoustic performance, never to be repeated ever again."

We invited vocalist/guitarist Chris DeMakes and Roger Lima to the Exclaim! office to play an acoustic rendition of "Good Enough," the opening track from their eighth studio album See the Light.

DeMakes begins a lively strum pattern, hitting the offbeats in typical reggae fashion, while Lima lays down an active bass line. The two team up for some impressive vocal harmony work in the chorus sections while driving the energetic number to a close, even hamming it up for the camera during a few off moments.
