Honestly, it's a pretty good predicament to be in, but Canadian treasure Leonard Cohen is apparently packed to the gills with new material to premiere for the faithful. Last month, he issued his Popular Problems full-length, and now he's gone ahead and revealed that a concert release is on the way later this year.
Titled Leonard Cohen - Live in Dublin, the live package arrives December 2 as a triple CD/DVD package, a triple CD/Blu-ray and digitally via Columbia Records/Legacy. A press release notes that this is the first full-length concert release of Cohen's to have been filmed in high-definition.
As the titled implies, the concert film was captured at Dublin's 02 Arena on September 12, 2013, during Cohen's tour "Old Ideas World Tour" behind 2012's Old Ideas LP. The set list pulls from that album, as well as the poet/songwriter's vast catalogue of favourites ("Hallelujah," "So Long, Marianne," "Chelsea Hotel #2," "Closing Time").
In addition to the Dublin performance's two full sets and encore performances, the new live collection also features extra footage captured in Halifax, St. John's and St. John. You'll find all of the setlist info for Leonard Cohen - Live in Dublin down below.
