It's been 35 years since new age experimenter Laraaji released his Brian Eno-produced classic Ambient 3: Day of Radiance in 1980, but the Philadelphia-born musician is still bringing celestial vibes to audiences with his live performances. He appeared in Toronto back in the fall, and now he's booked a Vancouver show.
The concert will take place a month from today, on April 23. Excitingly, it's at the most Laraaji-appropriate venue imaginable: the Planetarium, located in the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre.
The show is being presented by local electronic label 1080p and will feature an opening set by Ramzi. Tickets cost $16 and can be ordered right here.
The evening will also feature a performance from Montreal psych experimenter Ramzi. Get more information about the event on Facebook.
