La Lenguas

"Love You All the Time" (video)

Have you ever seen the film Lars and the Real Girl? It stars Ryan Gosling as man in a relationship with a sex doll, and now Los Angeles (via New Orleans) garage-pop group La Lenguas have employed a similar concept for their new video for "Love You All the Time."

The song is a peppy ditty from the band's new Tears in My Milkshake EP. The clip begins with frontman Christopher Stoudt getting dumped by his girlfriend, and he replaces her with a blow-up approximation. It might be cute if it weren't sort of creepy and weird. We can't help but wonder: how did the blow-up girlfriend manage to get a tattoo without popping?

It was directed by Stoudt himself. Watch it below.

Tears in My Milkshake is out today (May 26) through Burger Records. You can also check out the band's newly launched Bandcamp page here
