Experimental London, UK popster Kwes has released a video for the track "bashful." We previously heard the tune when the musician announced his upcoming Meantime EP, which is due out May 1 through Warp.
In a statement, Kwes had the following to say about the new clip: "I had a wonderful time doing the video for 'bashful.' Everyone involved did a fantastic job and Ian Pons Jewell is a fantastic director and all round great guy. I hope you enjoy its understated awkwardness as much as we enjoyed being awkward."
The video was shot in an elevator, and the man's not lying -- awkwardness abounds. Nevertheless, it's a fun watch that anyone who's ever had an uncomfortable elevator ride can surely relate to. The ensuing dance sequences are probably a little less realistic, but definitely entertaining.
