King Crimson Announce Canadian Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished May 19, 2015

If you're a 21st century schizoid man (or woman), rejoice — legendary British prog-rock group King Crimson have announced plans to perform in Canada.

The long-running veterans will bring Canadian audiences to the court of the crimson king with a slate of shows scheduled throughout November. These include stops in Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and Victoria.

Prior to that, the band will spend September on tour through the UK and Europe. That means October is fully empty for the band — perhaps an American tour is soon to be announced?

The seven-piece lineup of King Crimson on this tour includes drummers Gavin Harrison, Bill Rieflin and Pat Mastelotto, bassist Tony Levin, sax/flautist Mel Collins, guitarist and vocalist Jakko Jakszxyk and, of course, guitarist Robert Fripp.

Check out King Crimson's full tour schedule below. Tickets for their Canadian tour dates will be available on Friday (May 22).
