According to the NY Daily News [via Hype Beast], Ye is planning to screen a 30-minute film at Cannes that he will produce, write, direct and score. The secret project is rumoured to be a thriller that will star Kid Cudi.
While details are hazy, sources told the paper that Kanye has yet to start shooting the film, but he has been hyping it up as another "spectacle" that will surely change the world.
"That's just the way Kanye does things," the source said of Kanye's last-minute approach. "He is already talking to the right people to make sure it happens with short notice."
