Kanye West Reveals Silk Scarf Line

BY Josiah HughesPublished May 6, 2011

Fresh off a reported collaboration with Bono and Swizz Beatz, Kanye West is keeping things extra bourgeois with the release of a silk scarf line inspired by the artwork for his 2010 effort My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

The silk scarves utilize the album art designed by George Condo, and were produced in conjunction with French design house M/M. The silk scarves feature five different paintings that Condo did for the album, including the semi-controversial "Phoenix" painting.

The scarves will be available on Monday (May 9), but the chances are slim that you will be able to get them. Priced at $365 a piece, the scarves will only be available at French boutique Colette and Chicago's RSVP, as well as a select few available from the M/M site. Still, you should probably try, as those shutter shades will make you look really out of touch.

Thanks to Rap-Up for the tip.
