It's unclear exactly when Kanye West's full-length Yeezus follow-up will arrive, and more confusing yet as to what it will sound like. For months, the rapper has been teasing another raucous rap record, but has flipped the switch into adult contempo pop mode with Paul McCartney collaborations in "Only One" and "FourFiveSeconds." Reminding us that his next album was once potentially a rap release, a new version of "All Day" has leaked.
A rough version of the track leaked back in August, and today a slightly less rough (though still relatively lo-fi) version has emerged. The four-minute track is built on heavy, distorted synths, pounding drums and plenty of busy, aggressive verses. Once again, it has us wishing we could hear the rest of the song.
